Full-timeRemote Friendly

We’re looking for a React and React Native developer based in LATAM AMERICA to join our small, boutique team building a mobile app centered around e-sims and internet data connectivity called Nimbus eSIM. The entire product is being developed in-house, and our company has been operating since the start of the year. We’re a startup made up of people who truly know what they’re doing, without unnecessary layers of middle management.

We won’t try to convince you that you’ll “have a real impact on the product” - around here, that’s just the default. If something doesn’t work, we sit down together, talk it through, and improve it. We take feedback seriously - both from the team and from users. We believe that’s the only way to build something meaningful and lasting.

About the Product

Nimbus is a premium travel-connectivity platform built around a global eSIM app. We’re creating a calm, trustworthy alternative to confusing roaming and low-quality marketplaces - instant install, transparent pricing, and real human support. Travelers pick a destination and get a bespoke plan in seconds, with smart top-ups, hotspot sharing, and built-in diagnostics. For partners, Nimbus offers embeddable checkout and bulk ordering for agencies and e-commerce.

The app is free; users pay only for data plans. No ads, no dark patterns, no hidden fees. We’re aiming high: by 2030, we want Nimbus to power 1 million trips per year and become the go-to connectivity layer for premium travelers and the companies that serve them.

A few things worth mentioning

  • The project has been financed entirely by the two co-founders
  • As founders, we’re directly involved in the project, you’ll work with us personally. We believe that strong team relationships matter

What We’re Building

  • A premium mobile app for iOS and Android that makes travel connectivity effortless: pick a destination, get a bespoke eSIM plan, install in seconds, and go.
  • The core flows (plan selector - checkout - eSIM install - diagnostics) are live and under active iteration; we’re polishing onboarding, error states, and partner vouchers before broader scale-up.
  • This isn’t a throwaway growth hack - Nimbus is a long-term product with a clear roadmap and quality bar.
  • We have 6+ post-MVP features queued (auto top-ups, family sharing, referrals, travel bundles, better offline/install guidance, partner integrations).
  • Clear, transparent UX is our edge: no ads, no dark patterns, no roaming confusion - just reliable data and human support.
  • We collaborate on Slack, design in Figma, track work in ClickUp, and ship with Expo EAS.

A Few Things Worth Highlighting

  • Bootstrapped and revenue-first. Nimbus is funded by the founders and real customers - not by burning investor money.
  • You’ll work directly with the founders and the small core team; decisions are fast, feedback is honest, and ownership is real.
  • Monetization is simple and non-intrusive. The goal: reach sustainable profitability, not vanity metrics.

Who We’re Looking For

An experienced front-end/mobile engineer to own major pieces of our Expo (React Native) app. If you care about craft, like solving real user problems, and want your work to ship - we’d love to talk.

What We Expect

  • 4+ years building React Native apps (Expo welcome), shipped to App Store / Google Play. and min. 2+ years of experience with Web Apps in React.
  • Strong grasp of iOS/Android specifics (permissions, deep links, background tasks, store policies).
  • Product mindset: you sweat UX details, empty/error states, and performance.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and clear communication in a small, self-organizing team.
  • Nice-to-have: analytics/experimentation (Appsflyer/GA4), payments (IAP or Stripe), i18n, and basic mobile security practices.
  • Good level of English, be able to express yourself, do daily meetings and write documentation. Our team is international with people from Poland, Netherlands, Spain and Argentina.

Your Responsibilities

  • Implement and evolve core app flows: plan selector, purchase/activation, eSIM install guidance, diagnostics, top-ups.
  • Collaborate with backend and design to ship smooth, accessible, localized experiences.
  • Own mobile releases: EAS builds, store submissions, versioning, crash/latency monitoring, and rapid fixes.
  • Optimize performance and reliability across iOS and Android, including offline and edge-case handling.
  • Contribute to QA, instrumentation, and pre-release hardening.
