You’ll lead and facilitate a high-impact agile team responsible for developing a next-generation Learning Management System (LMS) that focuses on modernization, user experience, and efficiency. This position is crucial to improving sprint execution, team accountability, and delivery performance. As a dedicated Scrum Master, you will remove impediments, coach team members on Agile best practices, and work cross-functionally to align delivery with strategic goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Proven track record of guiding teams through Agile transformations and improving delivery performance.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and the ability to tailor practices to team needs.
- Strong skills in facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar Agile platforms.
- Fluent English.
- Background in LMS or education technology.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
- Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for agile teams focused on LMS development and modernization.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure well-defined backlogs and high-quality grooming sessions.
- Drive continuous improvement in sprint delivery, reducing rollover, and improving predictability.
- Coach team member on Agile principles and promote a culture of accountability and ownership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across time zones, fostering transparent communication, and managing cultural nuances.
- Identify and remove impediments to ensure delivery timelines are met.
- Monitor key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint burndown charts) and use the data to inform team decisions.
- Contribute to the broader Agile community of practice and help standardize delivery processes across teams.
