SimplyCure is a Brussels-based health-tech company whose mission is to make preventive medicine the norm. They provide a digital platform for healthcare practitioners that simplifies recommending dietary supplements, centralising product catalogues and streamlining patient follow-up workflows. Their platform supports a growing number of practitioners and emphasises usability, scalability and real-world impact.

As a Front-End Engineer, you will help power the user-facing side of Simplycure’s platform. You’ll build modern, high-quality interfaces in React/TypeScript, work closely with product/design/backend teams, and help evolve the front-end architecture and user experience.

• Develop and maintain modular, reusable React components and UI modules using TypeScript.
• Translate design prototypes (in Figma or similar) into efficient and maintainable front-end code.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, optimise performance for different user scenarios.
• Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end services (REST or GraphQL APIs) and work closely with backend engineers.
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and help define best practices (component libraries, state management, styling strategies, testing).
• Participate in code reviews, maintain high code quality, and support continuous improvement of the developer experience.

Must-haves:

• Proven experience with React (functional components, hooks) and TypeScript.
• Experience integrating front-end with APIs or headless systems and delivering production-quality UI.
• Comfortable working in a small, agile team and taking initiative.
• Solid understanding of Atomic Design
• An interest in building meaningful products — healthcare or impact-driven experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with UI component libraries or design systems (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks for front-end (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Knowledge of state-management libraries (Redux, Zustand, MobX) or context patterns.
• Understanding of front-end performance optimisation, accessibility (a11y) practices.
• Any experience in back-end or full-stack contexts (Node.js, NestJS, Go) — helpful but not required.
• Exposure to dev-ops/dev-workflow tools (CI/CD, Docker, AWS) — helpful.
