Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team in Ghent (full-time, on-site). In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions using Java. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable systems. You will also communicate directly with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and translate their feedback into product improvements. As a senior engineer, you will take ownership of key technical topics and drive them from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development and Java programming
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and customer interaction abilities
• Demonstrated accountability and ownership within a team environment
• Experience in the medical or healthcare technology sector is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an advantage
