bMonkeys is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer (permanent position) to join one of our clients active in the insurance sector in Brussels.

2/ Role & responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation and administration of various application hosting platforms, supported by expert teams.
  • Automate integration processes, testing, application deployment, and platform configuration.
  • Collaborate closely with Agile teams, Business, and Support teams to resolve incidents and ensure platform stability.
  • Guarantee robustness and reliability based on defined best practices.
  • Actively contribute ideas and improvements within the Transversal Technical Team to enhance delivery quality.
  • Participate enthusiastically in the company’s Cloudification journey.


3/ Profile

You have

  • A degree in Computer Science (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent).
  • Experience with Linux system setup and administration (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL).
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, …).
  • Knowledge of containerization and Infrastructure as Code (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure and SaaS services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Basic understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus).


You are comfortable with

  • Containerization environments (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Helm, Skaffold).
  • Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • At least one major cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud service integration.
  • Automation and deployment via CI/CD pipelines.
