Role Overview

As a Slot Game Engine Developer at Playstack, you will take a key role in the development of the mathematical game logic of online slot games in the Go Programming Language. You will work with front-end developers and mathematicians to create compelling, high-quality games for the iGaming market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the mathematical game logic using the Go Programming Language.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, game designers, and other engine developers to create a functional and balanced math model based on the game specification.
• Make sure the engine is secure, free of vulnerabilities, and correctly calibrated.
• Identify and resolve issues through debugging, profiling, and testing.
• Tweak existing engine projects to fit new requirements.
• Run long and accurate simulations to ensure a well-made product.
• Provide feedback on your colleagues’ work so that everybody can collectively improve.

Requirements

• Experience with the Go Programming Language.
• Understanding of the math behind iGaming games.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
• Mathematical background and experience with probability math is a plus.
• Experience with source control (e.g. Git) and working in Agile development environments is also a plus.
