Senior Software Engineer – Performance Measurement & Analytics 🚀

Location: Galway, Ireland – Hybrid 🌍

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an innovative technology team within a leading financial services organization. You’ll play a key role in building performance measurement and analytics software for Custom Separately Managed Accounts (CSMA) – a strategic and highly visible initiative.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for performance measurement and analytics.
• Work with relational databases such as Snowflake or Oracle.
• Build Object-Oriented applications using Java or Python.
• Develop Spark-based ETL data flows (Java or Scala) – advantageous.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team best practices.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology-related field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong experience in relational databases, Object-Oriented programming, and software development best practices
• Familiarity with Spark and ETL pipelines is a bonus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills 💬
• Experience in financial services technology is a plus, but not essential
