Senior Software Engineer – Performance Measurement & Analytics 🚀
Location: Galway, Ireland – Hybrid 🌍
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an innovative technology team within a leading financial services organization. You’ll play a key role in building performance measurement and analytics software for Custom Separately Managed Accounts (CSMA) – a strategic and highly visible initiative.
This is your chance to work on cutting-edge technology, collaborate with talented engineers, and make a real impact across the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for performance measurement and analytics.
- Work with relational databases such as Snowflake or Oracle.
- Build Object-Oriented applications using Java or Python.
- Develop Spark-based ETL data flows (Java or Scala) – advantageous.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team best practices.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology-related field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong experience in relational databases, Object-Oriented programming, and software development best practices
- Familiarity with Spark and ETL pipelines is a bonus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills 💬
- Experience in financial services technology is a plus, but not essential
