We’re seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic technology team responsible for maintaining, supporting, and developing enterprise IT infrastructure.
This role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of core systems — including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments — while contributing to ongoing improvement and modernisation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of IT services.
- Support infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Manage and optimise servers, storage, networking, and virtualisation platforms.
- Apply strong understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Work closely with security and network teams to ensure compliance and protect infrastructure assets.
- Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support and mentor junior team members.
- Document systems, configurations, and procedures in line with internal standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or IT Operations role.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls).
- Experience managing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or similar).
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, and related core services.
- Proven experience with system monitoring, patching, and performance tuning.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
