Design, build and operate high quality data pipelines on Stockmann's AWS cloud platform, ensuring trusted, timely and cost efficient data is available for analytics and AI use cases across the Stockmann Division.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Incremental CDC Pipelines - Implement Snowplow style CDC patterns (DMS/Kinesis) for priority operational systems.

* Redshift Performance Tuning - Analyze and apply distribution/sort keys and to ensure cost efficiency and performance

* Observability Roll out - Instrument pipelines with structured logging, metrics and dashboards.

* FinOps Hygiene - Tag resources and schedule environment shutdowns, contributing to platform cost savings.

* Data Ingestion & Transformation - Develop, test and deploy scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using AWSGlue, Lambda and StepFunctions for batch and near real time data flows.

* Data Modelling & Warehousing - Implement star schema and parquet based models in AmazonRedshift and S3 to support self service BI and advanced analytics.

* Quality & Reliability - Embed unit tests, data quality checks (Great Expectations or similar) and monitoring/alerting via CloudWatch to uphold agreed SLAs.

Job requirement:

* 3-5years in data engineering or software development with data pipeline focus.

* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or a related field.

* Hands on delivery with AWS Glue, Redshift and S3

* Exposure to building automated tests, CI/CD and IaC in a team environment.

* Experience working in cross functional agile teams delivering analytics products.
