iToDEV – a super awesome mega cool IT company was established in 2006 (19 years and counting. That means, we know what we are doing). Our team with 40+ equally awesome people works on interesting, challenging and useful WEB systems and mobile apps development projects for our Lithuanian and foreign clients.

Our beloved Backenders @iToDEV have to:

  • Develop this and that, make beep boop beep, merge, compile and PUFT something great and WORKING happens.
  • Be MVP (like in NBA), or at least VP. No..? But P is a must. By that I mean, you should be a player in our awesome team.
  • Be a geek and tech-savvy. Trust us, this will help you a lot in daily tasks.

From our Backenders @iToDEV we require:

  • To be in the backend game for 2+ years or more, leveling up from rookie to pro by taking on progressively tougher projects and handling responsibility like a champ.
  • Yeah, also… Symfony 6+, heard that? We would expect you’ve heard about it more than 1 year ago.
  • Don’t you dare send your CV if you don’t have at least 1 years of experience in PHPUnit/functional testing. Or dare, we accept challenges.
  • You could have suspected, that we will require knowledge in PHP. And they should be quite deep, at least 2 years. That said, PHP 8.2+ knowledge in depth as well.
  • And one more checkpoint related with years - MySQL, yeah you’ll need that. Fingers crossed that you have 1 or more years experience in that.
  • Some fancy words in your vocabulary should be: GIT, OOP, API. Actually, they are not that fancy, as you use them daily. Right?
  • Do you remember, our backenders should be team players. So let’s clarify, that team starts from 3 persons and you were one of them.
  • When you grab a project or a big feature, you run with it from “hmm, idea?” to “boom, deployed!”
  • You help your colleagues grow, share your tricks of the trade, and can steer a small project or feature from start to finish without breaking a sweat.
  • Cutting straight to the point - responsibility is a MUST feature you should have. FOCUS, a test for you - it’s Friday, 4:50 PM and your project (in PROD) goes crash boom bang. What do you do?
  • English - do you speak it? Did you understand any of these requirements?

Extra karma points for knowing these things:

  • Advanced CI/CD. You build, tweak, and optimize pipelines to fit each project like a glove.
  • AWS services - something with Amazon. Cool stuff.
  • Snakes in code form. If you've tamed Python, you're in for some bonus points!
  • Linux - that cute little penguin
  • Agile methodologies. Stand up, stand up - for the champions, stand up lalala
  • Jira. The beginning and the end of every User Story.
  • NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB). Extra points for correct answer:
  • PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Vulpix, MySQL, Oracle, Gorebyss - Which of these are pokemons?
  • Do you use of JWT? How about OAuth2?
