Head of Software

Job description:

Organize and coordinate the work of the system software team: task assignment, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement.
Contribute to the architecture and concept development of new products, as well as enhancement of existing software solutions.
Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with other RnD departments (electronics, mobile development, testing, design, etc.) on joint projects.
Foster technical growth of the team by organizing internal training, implementing modern development tools and best practices.
Participate in project planning and provide technical support for product roadmaps, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of project milestones.
Represent the team in internal and external meetings: defend technical decisions, coordinate architectural and engineering approaches with upper management and related departments.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in developing system software for embedded systems
2+ years of team leadership experience: managing development teams, task delegation, delivery oversight, participation in hiring and mentoring.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, management, and cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience using task and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms.

Monthly Salary:

Salary from 4500 to 6600 EUR (with monthly bonus included) before taxes.
