Responsibilities
- Understand scientific challenges and formulate tailored technical solutions
- Technical implementations and tackle complex bioinformatics problems
- Develop and optimize bioinformatics data processing pipelines and workflows
- Build and maintain databases to manage and retrieve biological data efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge scientific requirements with technical execution
- Translate project needs into scalable and user-friendly scientific software tools
- Participate actively in all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Ensure seamless integration of bioinformatics solutions into client ecosystems
Requirements
- Education or solid experience in healthcare or life sciences, with knowledge of industry standards
- Experience with Python, Java, or any programming language
- Basic knowledge of software engineering principles
- Good problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience as a user with ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook), LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), or participation in GxP-compliant projects
- Machine Learning/AI experience
- Knowledge of data formats and SQL
- German language skills are a plus

Salary range €700-€1.3K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
