We're looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join our EV Charger team - the people writing the firmware that keeps the power flowing.
You'll develop software for our ESP32-S3 micro-controllers, working directly on the firmware that controls charging, connectivity, and communication between devices, the grid, and the cloud.
Your code will literally move electrons - safely, efficiently, and intelligently.
You will:
- Design, implement, and maintain firmware for ESP32-S3 using C/C++ and ESP-IDF
- Develop and optimize applications running on FreeRTOS
- Integrate communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, MQTT, Modbus, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to debug, test, and bring up new prototypes
- Ensure system stability, low latency, and efficient power management
You're an engineer who loves making hardware come alive with code.
- Strong experience with C/C++ for embedded systems
- Hands-on experience with ESP32, ideally ESP32-S3, and ESP-IDF framework
- Experience with FreeRTOS or similar RTOS environments
- Good understanding of micro-controller peripherals and embedded communication protocols
- Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- Experience with firmware testing, version control, and continuous integration
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Yocto, Linux, or Azure IoT integration
- Curiosity, precision, and a drive to make things that actually work in the real world

We offer:
Monthly salary ranges from 5000 EUR to 7500 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
