About Your Team
The Platform team builds, deploys, monitors, and is on call for the platform components and underlying platform infrastructure. The platform team creates tools for other teams to perform in the most stable, fast, and precise manner. Platform team members do not shy away from architecture-level assignments. They follow the latest tech trends, pulse, and know about the most effective tools of the moment. Eneba’s users cannot visually see the impact of the platform team, however, it is felt via the presence of speed, quality, and new features.
DevOps Engineer is an IT professional who collaborates with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to handle and manage code releases. This position is aimed at the individual able to cross and merge the barriers between development, testing, and operations as well as keep the existing networks in mind all throughout the planning, designing, and testing phases. Responsibilities
- Build and manage common, shareable solutions and best practices, including developing management tools and implementing self-service capabilities, to improve service delivery time, reliability, and observability.
- Solve a range of performance issues in our platforms as the infrastructure grows and converges to the multiregional level.
- Continuously work to identify process inefficiencies and automate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.
- Manage shared infrastructure components such as EKS clusters, monitoring tools, Elasticsearch, CloudFlare, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, IAM, VPC, S3)
- Experience running production environments with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, Crossplane, etc.).
- Expertise in infrastructure and application monitoring, including the use of tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Sentry, etc.
- Experience developing push/pull-based CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab and Flux.
- Knowledge of Go/Bash at the level of scripting and automation.
- Capability to perform technical deep dives into code and architecture.
- A systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
- Willingness to be flexible and quick to learn new things.
- Experience operating multi-region AWS environments
- Experience implementing self-service portals or workflows for developers
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Understanding of service mesh architectures (e.g., Linkerd, Istio) and traffic reliability patterns (retries, circuit breaking)
- Familiarity with networking and security controls (private networking, IAM, least privilege, workload identity)
