Position Summary

Bentley Systems is driving a major transformation to accelerate growth through product innovation and operational excellence. As part of this effort, we are seeking a Business Analyst, Strategy & Insights to join our Value Delivery team. This high-visibility role partners closely with senior leaders across the business to deliver strategic initiatives that shape Bentley’s global growth.

You will act as a trusted internal consultant, combining analytical rigor with business insight to drive impact across product, go-to-market, and operational domains. The role offers continuous learning, exposure to high-priority strategic projects, and an opportunity to contribute directly to Bentley’s long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Director of Value Delivery and cross-functional leaders to design and implement initiatives aligned with Bentley’s strategic priorities.
  • Lead or support strategic projects across diverse areas such as go-to-market, product, M&A, and organizational development.
  • Drive data-led analysis and modeling to support decision-making and measure the impact of key projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Product, Finance, Market Intelligence, and Customer Insights teams to integrate market, customer, and competitive data into strategic recommendations.
  • Translate complex analytics into clear, concise, and actionable insights for executive audiences.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for continuous improvement and faster execution.
  • Occasionally travel (<10%) to Bentley offices to facilitate workshops or project meetings.

    Qualifications

    • 3–5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in management consulting, investment banking, or a corporate strategy role within a global software or SaaS company.
    • Experience in AEC or infrastructure-related markets is a plus.
    • Strong academic background in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Data/Computer Science; degree from a top-tier university strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, or advanced Excel modeling.
    • Proven ability to structure problems, conduct data-driven analysis, and communicate insights effectively.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
    • Self-starter mindset, strong ownership, and comfort operating in a dynamic environment.
    • International experience or exposure to global teams is an advantage.
