Senior Back-End Engineer (Freelance)
Location: Amstelveen, Netherlands (Hybrid / Remote)
Contract: 12 months, with the opportunity to go permanent
We’re looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer with a passion for building scalable, reliable cloud platforms to join a global tech consultancy of ours. You’ll join a skilled, collaborative team developing our private cloud environment, supporting technologies like Red Hat OpenShift.
The ideal candidate will bring strong back-end skills in Go (or similar languages like Rust, C#, or Kotlin), experience with microservices, GitOps deployments, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, automation, and agile development is a plus. If you thrive in greenfield projects, enjoy solving complex challenges, and communicate effectively in Dutch, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
