We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist based in Zaltbommel with hybrid working available. The position is initially offered on a 12 month contract / temporary basis. The role will support Swisslog locations in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.

The Human Resources Generalist will provide first line support and assistance to line managers and their employees. In addition to providing day to day advice and guidance to enable both employees and the organisation to function more effectively.

Make an impact

• Provide first line support for line managers, staff and external contacts and to regularly meet line managers to discuss issues and support as an when required
• Support managers in the recruitment of their staff advising on the most appropriate recruitment methods, manage the relationship with the talent acquisition team, agencies, web-based recruitment providers and attending interviews where appropriate
• Produce documentation for starters, including contract of employment and confidentiality agreements. Process new starter agreements, leaver forms,SAP and personnel files
• Manage payroll administration ensuring that appraisals are carried out and workload is reviewed and monitored on a weekly basis raising any issues to the Head of HR
• Ensure the performance management process in enforced and objectives are set for all employees
• To keep appraised of changes to new working practices and changes in legislation and ensure where appropriate managers are briefed of these changes. Assist with updating policies and procedures as required
• Work with marketing to promote employee welfare & wellbeing
• Complete regional reports including fluctuation analysis, headcount analysis and vacancy reports

What you need to succeed

• Previous human resource experience as a Human Resources Generalist or similar role
• Human resource related qualifications would be desirable
• Dutch labor law knowledge including familiarity with local employment regulations and compliance standards
• Proven ability to manage the end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job offers, conducting interviews and onboarding new staff. Experience of HR information systems such as SAP SuccessFactors and payroll software is desirable
• An industry background in engineering or technology companies would be an advantage but not essential
• Dutch and English language skills are required although for a strong candidate English only will be considered with a desire to learn Dutch in the near future
