DevOps Manager

Deutsche Bank is looking for a DevOps Manager to join our technology team in Bucharest. The role involves designing and implementing the overall DevOps architecture for key projects, defining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure, automated deployments across cloud and on-prem environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and define the DevOps architecture and delivery framework for assigned projects.
• Select and implement appropriate tools and platforms for CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Manage and optimize pipelines across the application lifecycle - build, test, release, and monitoring.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability in AWS and GCP environments.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Integrate security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the DevOps team.

Key Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, npm).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, ArgoCD, Grafana, SonarQube.
• Familiarity with SRE concepts: change management, incident management, production operations.
• Solid understanding of security fundamentals (certificates, keys, encryption, service accounts).
• Experience managing relational databases (Oracle) and exposure to distributed data platforms (Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture (Spring Framework, API gateways, service meshes).
