Project Manager (m/w/d) - Your next role?
As a Project Manager (m/w/d), you will directly report to our Engineering Manager and you will join our Engineering & Maintenance department in Vernier.
You will be in charge of leading the implementation of multi-disciplinary projects on site from justification and technical design to successful implementation and commissioning. You will manage requests for the study and implementation of projects at Vernier site covering production, logistics, utilities, laboratories, and site facilities

In this exciting role you will :
- Lead and manage CAPEX projects from feasibility study to implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards ;
- Coordinate internal project teams and external partners, and actively contribute to the development of project scopes, cost estimations, specifications, and credit applications ;
- Ensure full compliance with design and construction standards, Givaudan guidelines, and all applicable EHS and legal regulations ;
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including detailed planning, cost control, milestones, and deliverables, and implement corrective actions whenever required ;
- Co-lead tender processes with suppliers, contractors, and IM&S, ensuring optimal technical and financial alignment ;
- Monitor project KPIs, prepare progress and budget reports, and lead project steering committees ;
- Support the execution team and supervisors in contractor management, safety coordination, and project handover ;
- Participate to hazard studies, risk assessments, and process optimization activities to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence ;
- Ensure the preparation of all required design and technical documentation, and maintain accurate reporting through the PPM tool in line with the Givaudan Project Management Process (PGP) ;
- Be accountable for the safe, timely, and successful completion of projects, delivering sustainable solutions that meet Givaudan’s quality and innovation standards.

Your success profile includes :
- Master degree in engineering in Chemical engineering, mechanics, electricity or automation field ;
- 5 to 10 years of experience in factory engineering, including management of multiple process engineering projects involving resources from diverse disciplines ;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds and technical disciplines, both internal and external ;
- Good technical skills in chemical industry or equivalent ;
- Good command in project management, using TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools ;
- Good knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP) ;
- Fluent in French and English. German knowledge is an asset ;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and SAP ;
- You are a structured and results-oriented professional, able to plan, align and manage complex projects efficiently ;
- You take ownership, challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement with a proactive mindset ;
- Collaborative and open, you communicate transparently and build strong relationships across teams and functions ;
- You combine analytical thinking with sound decision-making, maintaining perspective even under pressure ;
