Part of Global Solutions, Vingcard specialises in electronic locking and access management systems for the global hospitality industry. We create seamless, secure experiences for hotels and their guests through innovative digital solutions that blend security with exceptional user experience.

As the UI Design Intern for Vingcard, you will have the opportunity to shape the visual identity of access management platforms used by thousands of hotels worldwide, whilst developing professional skills in interface design and learning from experienced design professionals.

Working closely with our Design Lead, you will support the creation of polished, visually compelling interfaces that enhance usability and maintain brand consistency across our product ecosystem.

What You Will Do…

  • Craft polished, visually compelling interfaces with attention to typography, colour, spacing, and interaction states that align with our brand identity
  • Transform wireframes and UX flows into high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes that demonstrate visual design solutions
  • Partner with UX designers to ensure visual solutions enhance usability and support the intended user journey
  • Apply and evolve our visual language across different platforms whilst maintaining brand integrity
  • Support developers in ensuring design integrity during implementation, providing detailed specifications and assets
  • Stay current with UI trends and techniques, bringing fresh perspectives to our design approach
  • Contribute to accessible design practices, learning WCAG requirements and inclusive design principles

What We Expect Of You…

  • Currently enrolled in a programme with LIA (Lärande i arbete) placement requirement
  • Studying Digital Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or related field
  • Portfolio is a must! (We understand you may not have worked on company projects yet; school assignments, personal experiments, or any work that shows your design thinking is welcome)
  • Proficiency in Figma (Required)
  • Understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy principles
  • Basic awareness of accessibility principles and designing for diverse user needs
  • Curiosity about design systems and component-based design approaches
  • Attention to detail and willingness to iterate based on feedback
  • Collaborative attitude, strong communication skills, and eagerness to learn
  • You will ideally be located in Stockholm or surrounding areas, comfortable with hybrid work (3 days/week in office)

Plus If You Have…

  • Familiarity with Cursor or similar AI-assisted design tools
  • Interest in design systems and component libraries
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS)
