We are looking for a freelance product designer to support a startup developing edge-computing AI solutions that pair smart sensors and on-device intelligence to reduce latency and bring AI capabilities closer to where data is generated..

Start date: November - December 2025

Duration: 6 months first contract + 6 months extensions if feedback is positive

Work mode: On-site, Abu Dhabi Yas Island

Responsibilities:

• Design digital experiences from concept to launch across mobile and web platforms.
• Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Product, Engineering, and Research — to define problems and deliver thoughtful solutions.
• Prototype and test ideas using modern tools and real user feedback.
• Integrate AI thoughtfully, designing interfaces and interactions that make intelligence feel seamless and helpful.
• Contribute to product strategy, ensuring design plays a key role in decision-making.

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing for connected or spatial interfaces.
• Familiarity with motion design or 3D tools.
• Understanding of how sensors, data, and AI models can shape user experience.
