Frontend Developer – Freelancer

Join an exciting project to deliver a production-ready MVP of an AI-powered Service Advisor Portal tailored for automotive workshops. This role focuses on supporting non-technical service advisors by providing AI-driven diagnostics, workflow guidance, and intuitive task management tools. You will take ownership of finalizing and refining an existing React prototype, ensuring seamless integration with n8n for real-time web search and AI analysis. The platform must be desktop-optimized, require no login, utilize localStorage, and allow API connection configuration directly within the UI. The ideal candidate is comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a team based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The initial engagement is for 4–6 weeks, with the possibility of future collaboration on additional features.

Deliverables

• Finalize and polish the current React-based prototype for production use
• Integrate n8n workflows for real-time web search and AI-powered analysis
• Implement robust error handling and clear user feedback throughout the UI
• Ensure the interface is professional, user-friendly, and optimized for desktop
• Enable API connection configuration within the application UI
• Provide clear, concise documentation for deployment and usage
• Support milestone-based delivery and communication with the project owner
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in React and TailwindCSS for modern, responsive UI development
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with automation tools such as n8n
• Familiarity with OpenAI APIs or LLM prompt engineering
• Strong attention to detail in UI/UX and error handling
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready code
• Excellent written communication skills for documentation
• Remote work capability; availability for collaboration with a Sweden-based team
