Job Role- Senior Frontend Developer (ReactJS)

Location- Calgary, Alberta

Hybrid

Contract/Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and vendors.
• Define and refine coding, design, testing, and debugging standards.
• Lead architectural design and ensure quality of deliverables through reviews and sign-offs.
• Resolve complex technical issues and evaluate new tools and frameworks.
• Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with architecture, vendor, and cross-functional project teams.
• Mentor developers, promote innovation, and drive continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration and support Agile development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of front-end development experience in large-scale, consumer-facing web applications.
• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern SPA frameworks (React preferred; Angular/Vue a plus).
• Proficient in object-oriented and asynchronous JavaScript, and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material UI, Semantic UI).
• Hands-on experience in Agile environments and technical leadership roles.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Passion for clean, scalable, and high-performance code.
