Salary Range
$55,000 - $65,000 / year
The salary range is dependent on work experience.
Responsibilities
- Support onboarding and off-boarding processes, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and supporting with coordination of new hire on-boarding
- Administer HR systems (HRIS, EMPTrust, 7Shifts), ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
- Support with health and safety programs, including monitoring joint health and safety compliance and coordinate injury management processes
- Submit all workers compensation paperwork and support in the injury management program
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, including resolving basic issues and escalating complex matters to appropriate team members
- Conduct HR audits for Food Safe/Safe Serve, Employment Agreements, Work Permits, etc
- Support in managing employee documentation, files, and company policies
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- 3 years of work experience in a professional office is considered an asset
- Experience with working with ADP, 7Shifts, Zenput and/or EMPTrust systems considered an asset
- Basic understanding of Canadian Provincial Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety standards is an asset
- Experience working in the hospitality industry considered an asset
