This role will join a high performing team of Commercial Data Scientists and will focus on omnichannel analytics and reporting to support Roche Canada’s commercialization strategies
The Opportunity:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (local & global) to understand key business questions and identify use cases for the application of advanced analytics to measure omnichannel effectiveness
- Partner with Above Brand Analytics & Insights Manager, and Digital Channel Partners, as necessary, to incorporate Omnichannel and Digital initiatives KPIs into regular business reporting in a way that supports performance assessments and decision-making for future omnichannel or digital strategies and tactics
- Identify opportunities for leveraging data science and advanced analytics communities to work collaboratively on Omnichannel measurement use cases that can be scaled across the organization
- Partner with Commercialization Technologies Team to optimize the analytics and insights derived through systems, digital initiatives and insights
- Identify the most appropriate analytical methodologies and tools to use (e.g. statistical analysis, natural language processing, machine learning and AI) when addressing a business question
- Apply innovative thinking to select the appropriate datasets to use in each analysis, address data gaps, and develop novel analytical approaches and models
- Develop processes, tools and adoption strategies to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and utilization of analytics to drive data drive decision making
- Develop and apply appropriate advanced analytics methodologies, models and tools to use in measuring outcomes and impact of promotional and non-promotional initiatives
- Effectively communicate the strategic and operational value of complex analyses and models to internal stakeholders
- You have a minimum of a Bachelors degree preferably in life science with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of health system and pharma industry and related data, patient level data and internal data sources
- Ability to integrate multiple, disparate sources of data, developing linkages as appropriate and finding novel ways to address missing data and data source gaps.
- Ability to understand and synthesize the impact and nuances of specific therapeutic areas and markets
- Strong strategic ability demonstrated thought problem solving, critical thinking and creative thinking skills
- Highly developed collaboration and influencing skills demonstrated by effective contributions to cross-functional teams, ability to influence without authority among peers and senior management, ability to build strong, collaborative relationships, ability to mentor others
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with emphasis on ability to effectively communicate complex analyses and insights and make strategic recommendations
