Our client is looking for a Back End Engineer to join an Agile development team focused on building scalable, cloud-based services. In this role, you’ll work on core application logic, APIs, data processing, and system integrations that power high-performing digital products.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs in a cloud environment
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and share learnings with the team
• Work with modern backend languages such as Java, Python, Go, Scala, or Node.js
• Utilize SQL/NoSQL databases, containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (e.g., AWS)

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• 3+ years of professional backend software development experience

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of experience in one or more backend languages (Java, Python, Go, Scala, Node.js, etc.)
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or another cloud platform
• Experience working with open-source frameworks and tooling
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
