All About The Role
Just Eat is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Logistics Integrations team.
The team is responsible for helping provide the perfect food ordering experience to our restaurant partners, delivery partners, and customers.
Specifically, you will be working on improving and extending our tools that manage order throttling based on courier capacity.
In 2026, this team will play a pivotal role in endeavouring to realise efficiencies and optimizations to help JET achieve its ambitious goal of making JET delivered orders profitable!
You’ll work with world-class engineers and other talented teams while making an impact on the design and architecture of Just Eat Takeaway platforms.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Implementing change to the Order Throttling platform and components
- Maintaining and improving operational stability
- Adhering to JET wide architectural best practice
- Contributing towards and improving team standards and best practice
- Opportunity to own streams of work, from design to support in production
Our principles are at the core of how we meet our responsibilities. As a senior engineer, you’ll need to demonstrate those principles and make them a core part of how you work day-to-day:
- Design and build great software
- Move fast with confidence
- Secure, Reliable and Performant platform
- Trust, transparency, and ownership
- C#, .NetCore.
- Front End (desireable) to support simple internal facing UIs. Angular or React
- Experience as a software engineer working in teams
- Delivering high-quality software projects, driving forward best practices
- Able to work independently and solve complex problems
- Amazon Web Services (or similar e.g Azure, Google Cloud)
- Working in microservices and event-driven architecture
- Serverless computing and cloud architecture patterns
