🚀 Part-Time Data Analyst (5 hrs/week) — Early-Stage Startup | Sydney Surry Hills

We’re Bidit, a scrappy, bootstrapped startup built by a small team from Afterpay, Deloitte, and Blackbird. Our mission is to reinvent online shopping — letting buyers make offers on products and helping retailers understand what customers really value through real-time pricing data.

We’re looking for a part-time data analyst (or data scientist) — someone smart, curious, and analytical who can turn our early data into insights that drive product and growth decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret real-time bidding and pricing data from pilot retailers (Shopify, Salesforce, etc.)

• Identify trends in offer success rates, buyer behaviour, and price elasticity

• Build light dashboards or reports in Excel / Sheets / Python / SQL

• Work directly with the founding team to help shape pricing intelligence

Who You Are

• A final-year or early-career data analyst / data science (or recent grad)

• Confident with Python, R, SQL, or Excel/Sheets/LLM etc 

• Strong communicator, loves finding patterns in data

• Self-starter who enjoys fast-moving startup environments
