We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven DAON Engineer with specialized experience in the DAON Identity Platform and TrustX Framework. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, development, and support of secure and scalable biometric authentication solutions. This role demands an individual capable of independently integrating and managing identity services while ensuring seamless user onboarding, identity lifecycle management, and compliance with security standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure identity verification and biometric authentication solutions leveraging DAON (IdentityX, TrustX) technologies.
  • Integrate DAON TrustX and IdentityX services into web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of identity onboarding, from registration through verification and ongoing management of user identities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and security teams, to define and deliver scalable, secure, and innovative identity solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to DAON SDKs, APIs, and TrustX configuration, ensuring timely solutions to production challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge-sharing practices for all solutions delivered.
  • Ensure adherence to privacy and security standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.), while promoting best practices across teams.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience working with DAON Identity Solutions (e.g., IdentityX, TrustX).
  • In-depth knowledge of biometric authentication technologies, including face, voice, and fingerprint recognition.
  • Proven experience configuring and deploying DAON TrustX in diverse environments.
  • Strong expertise in integrating RESTful APIs and SDKs into iOS, Android, and Web applications.
  • Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols such as OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects independently, delivering results on time and with a high degree of quality.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues in production environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within the financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries, where security and compliance are paramount.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear documentation and collaborative teamwork.
