You’ll shape our cloud platforms, level up our deployment workflows, and support the teams building our products. It’s a hands-on role focused on reliability, continuous improvement, and making sure everything just works! Fusion opened its doors to clients all around the world starting in mid-2019. Last year, we grew revenue and our client growth by triple digits, and we're on pace to do far more than that in 2026, outpacing our competitors who are many years older than us. What you will own.

• Own and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts and regions.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Design scalable, secure cloud architectures for current and future products.
• Manage AWS services including Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, WAF, EC2 and CloudWatch.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and enable modern deployment practices such as feature flags, blue-green releases and automated rollbacks.
• Manage deployment environments (dev, staging, production) and remove bottlenecks in current workflows.
• Implement security controls, support financial services compliance and respond to security incidents.
• Track, analyse and optimise cloud infrastructure costs with dashboards and alerts.
• Improve system reliability, performance and availability through monitoring, automation and continuous improvement.
• Implement observability, monitoring, alerting and incident response processes.
• Improve developer tooling and reduce friction in deployment workflows to enable frequent, safe releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, remote developers and key cloud vendors.
• Document critical infrastructure knowledge and build sustainable internal practices through knowledge sharing.

What we are looking for.

• 7–10+ years of software engineering or infrastructure experience, including senior or lead responsibilities.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS (multi-account, multi-region), containerisation (Docker, Fargate/ECS), and cloud networking.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform, and proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-first mindset with experience in compliance, observability, monitoring, cost optimisation, and incident response.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, able to work autonomously and make sound technical decisions; bonus experience in fintech, trading, or remote teams.
