As Our Senior HR Consultant, You Will:
- Provide strategic HR advice and support across workforce planning, recruitment, and case management activities, to deliver and drive practical business outcomes and effective people management practices.
As Our Senior HR Consultant, You Will:
- Provide strategic HR advice and support across workforce planning, recruitment, and case management activities, to deliver and drive practical business outcomes and effective people management practices.
- Manage and coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-work processes, collaborating with managers and staff to ensure effective support following illness or injury.
- Provide practical recommendations, solutions, coaching and advice to managers, that builds capability, in relation to attraction strategies, and recruitment and selection processes that are accessible, inclusive, and culturally safe.
- Provide advice on a diverse range of contemporary employee relations and human resource issues, including organisational change, discipline, performance management, conflict resolution, injury management and compliance within the department's framework.
- Supervise and support the team to achieve results aligned with approved work plans and objectives.
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide evidence based recommendations to inform decision-making.
- Develop and deliver training, procedures, and resources to strengthen HR capabilities and support continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate HR initiatives and meet organisational goals.
- Research, review and prepare HR related reports, briefs, submissions and other correspondence in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Participate in HR projects and working groups, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and meet client needs.
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in human resources/ employee relations from a recognised tertiary institution, would be well regarded.
- Experience using the Aurion Employee Self Service application and Springboard
- Knowledge and awareness of current human resources practices and systems, industrial instruments, and emerging trends to ensure compliance and/or provide recommendation for continuous improvement.
