Senior Software Engineer, Mobile - LATAM

This role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance a customer-facing mobile application that redefines business travel experiences. You will work at the core of a design-led mobile team, building feature-rich, high-performance, and visually compelling mobile experiences using React Native, with the ability to integrate native iOS and Android functionality where needed. The position requires a strong technical foundation, attention to performance and UX detail, and the ability to take ownership of complex features from design through deployment. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers, ensuring cross-platform consistency and delivering solutions that delight end users. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on a platform serving thousands of travelers and businesses, offering room to innovate and make measurable contributions.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, customer-facing mobile features using React Native and TypeScript
• Optimize application performance, including memory management, rendering, and responsiveness across mobile devices
• Ensure pixel-perfect, cross-platform consistency between iOS and Android while leveraging native functionality when required
• Implement unit, integration, and UI tests to maintain application stability and quality
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate mockups and user stories into production-ready code
• Troubleshoot complex mobile-specific issues and integrate custom native modules as needed
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications, preferably customer-facing
• Strong expertise in React Native and TypeScript
• Experience with native iOS and/or Android development is a strong plus
• Deep understanding of mobile UX/UI best practices and performance optimization
• Proficient in testing methodologies for mobile applications (unit, integration, UI)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end feature development
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
