As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building innovative products within a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will leverage your expertise to develop scalable solutions, explore and integrate open datasets and APIs, and extend the functionality of security-focused applications. Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications, ensuring clean, efficient, and testable code
- Explore open datasets and APIs to enhance knowledge bases and product offerings
- Integrate with third-party APIs and services to extend application functionality
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
- Support testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of new products and enhancements
- Contribute to product design discussions and technical planning sessions
- 5-8 years of hands-on Python programming experience
- Strong experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Knowledge of application, cloud, and network security concepts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Bonus points for experience with React/JS, TypeScript, or additional programming languages (JS, Java, C#, Go, C++, SQL)
