We are reengineering blockchain infrastructure from first principles to make global digital markets as precise and dependable as physical systems. Built on a leading high-performance layer-1 network, our platform delivers deterministic execution, guaranteed inclusion, and low-latency performance. We are hiring an Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to lead critical engineering efforts that drive the performance and scalability of our next-generation distributed systems.
You will join a highly proficient team of core engineers, focusing on Rust systems programming, infrastructure architecture (Kubernetes), and operational scripting. Your work will span the full stack, from bare metal to application interfaces, and will directly support our platform which connects the L1 network with advanced L2 extensions. You will drive high-quality, frequent code shipments, engage in deep architectural discussions, and apply a coherent system design philosophy to advance the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Leadership: Lead critical engineering efforts to drive the performance and scalability of our distributed systems
- System Operations: Hit the ground running with cluster health management, Flux deployments, and validator support
- Architecture & Code: Design and implement opinionated architectural choices across our stack (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, Terraform), and uphold software best practices
- Security: Implement infrastructure and data security practices, including KMS and HashiCorp Vault
- Custom Solutions: Develop custom operations, which will require strong coding skills and a good grasp of the underlying network specifics
- Observability: Utilize tools like Prometheus/Thanos for robust monitoring and maintain high standards for system design and code quality
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, preferably within high-standard fintech, data, cloud, or DevOps environments
- DevOps/SRE Expertise: Strong DevOps/SRE fundamentals (GitOps, GCP, CI/CD, monitoring, etc.)
- Blockchain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Solana ecosystem, and ideally experience with MEV (on Solana or Ethereum)
- Core Systems: Familiarity and ability to work with our core infrastructure stack: Kubernetes, Terraform/Terragrunt, Helm, HashiCorp Vault, and FluxCD
- Software Skills: Strong software development skills (Rust, Go, or TypeScript)
- Security: Experience with infrastructure and data security practices, including KMS and HashiCorp Vault
- Communication: Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Experience operating validators on distributed networks
- Active engagement with the blockchain security research community (open-source contributions, publications, or speaking)
- Compensation: Highly competitive compensation packages based on ongoing market analysis, including tokens (equity)
- Culture: Remote-first culture with flexible hours—self-initiative and independence are highly valued
- Team & Growth: Work with highly talented engineers who are deeply committed to foundational and novel infrastructure innovations
- Impact: Opportunities for rapid professional growth within one of the most technically ambitious projects in Web3, solving foundational failures in transaction execution and system reliability
