Highly reputable, Satcoms & Space products company are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to help take their software engineers, and software projects, to the next level. You’d be joining in a period of significant growth with ongoing projects around telecoms / ground systems network automation software, along with reconfigurable radio communication systems, you will be leading the cutting edge of our client’s software journey.

What you’ll do

• Working actively with stakeholders, members of global business units
• Lead technology roadmaps; definition, support, delivery
• Mentor & Train Software Engineers in growing Luxembourg office
• Working with Software, Electronics, Project Managers and other stakeholders to create agreed-upon timelines, accurate prioritization levels
• Ensuring products and technical road-map execution by tracking team’s objectives and maintaining high standards of accountability
• Agile leadership

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 8 years of work experience in SW development
• At least 3 years of experience in leading software engineering teams in agile development and multi-cultural environments - ideally havi9ng worked with electronics teams, QA, as well as software
• Soft skills ownership: leadership, teamwork, adaptability and flexibility, and inter-team effective communication
• Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills
• Software skills:
• C, C++ , Python, or Java
