About Voltcore

Voltcore develops next-generation heating solutions based on carbon-nanotube-enhanced

polymer fibers and fabrics. Our materials combine lightweight design, fast heating, and

recyclability, enabling integration into multiple applications such as automotive interiors,

mobility systems, industrial heating, and lifestyle products. We are scaling from pilot to

commercial production and expanding collaborations with OEMs, Tier-1s, and technology

partners across Europe and beyond. www.voltcore.tech

1. Core Mission

Drive proof-of-concept (POC) projects with OEMs, Tier-1s, and integrators across automotive,

mobility, industrial, and consumer sectors.

Bridge the technical capabilities of Voltcore’s heating fibers and fabrics with the application

needs of clients, turning prototypes into validated and scalable business cases.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Technical & Product Development

• Translate client specifications into feasible heating fabric or filament prototypes.

• Lead the technical execution of POCs: define testing protocols, performance KPIs, and

validation criteria.

• Interface between R&D (Luxembourg lab) and client engineers for sample iteration,

measurement, and reporting.

• Support material qualification and homologation processes for automotive interiors and

thermal control systems.

• Maintain structured feedback to refine Voltcore’s product portfolio and application

database.

B. Business & Client Interaction

• Manage daily technical relationships with client engineering and innovation teams.

• Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals and POC reports.

• Coordinate project milestones, testing deadlines, and deliverables.

• Identify cross-application opportunities across Voltcore’s clusters (mobility, individual,

in-house, industrial).

• Support sales by quantifying value propositions such as energy eViciency, weight

reduction, recyclability, and heating speed.

C. Market Intelligence & Strategy

• Monitor emerging technologies in thermal comfort, cabin management, and

lightweight materials.

• Benchmark competitors including seat heating systems, battery heaters, and textile

heaters.

• Contribute to product roadmap decisions such as new grades, formats, or coating

techniques.

• Provide input on pricing models, POC cost estimation, and pilot-to-serial scale-up

strategies.

3. Required Skills & Background

Technical

Polymer materials, fiber spinning, nonwovens, or textile coating knowledge; understanding of resistive heating systems, conductive fillers, or thermal management; familiarity with lab testing (TGA, DSC, tensile, resistivity, IR imaging).

Industrial Knowledge

Experience in automotive interiors, thermal management systems, smart textiles, or industrial heating. Understanding of homologation and Tier-1/OEM validation cycles.

Project Management

Strong organization and cross-functional coordination; experience running POCs from NDA to prototype to report delivery; skilled at tracking timelines, budgets, and sample logistics.

Business & Client-Facing

Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial value; confident in client presentations; comfortable in B2B relationship management.

Solid MS Office and project tracking tools (such as Monday, Asana, or Notion); ability to prepare professional slide decks and technical summaries.

Languages

Fluent English (mandatory); French or German is a plus for automotive OEMs.

Mindset

Entrepreneurial and startup-oriented; proactive and self-driven; hands-on with samples; problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building from scratch; able to travel frequently across Europe.

4. Typical Background

• MSc or PhD in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Textile Technology, or

Mechanical Engineering.

• 5–10 years of experience in automotive supplier, advanced textiles, thermal systems,

or functional materials business development.

• Prior exposure to client-driven innovation (POCs, validation projects, industrial scaleup).

5. Ideal Personality Fit

• Entrepreneurial and resourceful: thrives in startup environments, takes ownership,

and builds solutions with limited resources.

• Hybrid thinker: balances technical credibility with commercial instinct.

• Integrator: bridges the gap between Voltcore’s lab and client R&D.

• Structured communicator: clear in writing, data-driven, and able to synthesize results

for investors and clients.

• Curious and proactive: explores new use-cases and contributes to Voltcore’s continuous innovation culture.
