Our mission? To help hospitals accelerate their care transformation and digitalization goals, so that every patient receives the right care at the right time. We are a growing AI company with solutions already running in multiple hospitals, and we are actively scaling further across the Netherlands.
Does this sound exciting? The you can now experience what that is like by joining Pacmed as an intern!
During your internship, you will work on a concrete AI innovation project in the hospital setting. Together with data scientists, physicians, and product developers, you will develop and test models, user interfaces, and prototypes that truly add value to clinical practice.
You will have the opportunity to work on one of the following projects:
Example Internship Projects
- Predicting burden of care for individual patients - help hospitals determine how many patients can be cared for by one person
- Making an intuitive dashboard that tracks the impact of our products real-time in an insightful way
- Predicting patient discharge dates and aftercare needs – help hospitals plan more efficiently and free up beds on clinical wards.
- AI tool for the Emergency Department – predict crowding, admission needs, and required interventions to improve patient flow.
- Postoperative care prediction – determine whether a patient will need ICU care after surgery and forecast the expected length of stay.
Please mention in your motivation which type of project (clinical prediction, emergency department, postoperative care, or dashboards) fits you best — we’re happy to tailor the assignment to your learning goals.
