About
PLANORA is a Dutch startup building a mobile app that helps people easily discover what’s happening around them - from entertainment venues like bowling or karting to thematic events and nightlife spots.
Our mission: make the phrase “nothing to do” disappear.
About the Internship
We’re looking for a motivated designer who wants to grow through real work - creating visuals and user interfaces for a modern mobile app.
You’ll work directly with the founders and developers, learning how startup design actually happens - from mockups to final animations.
What you’ll do
- Create mobile-first app designs and mockups in Figma.
- Work on UI layouts, icons, and style consistency.
- Prepare visuals and animations for app screens and website.
- Experiment with CSS-based animations and interactive effects.
- Collaborate with the frontend team to align design and code.
What we’re looking for
- You know and use Figma, and can create clean, functional mockups.
- You understand mobile-first design principles.
- You have a portfolio (even student projects are fine).
- You know the basics of SEO and how design impacts discoverability.
- You understand CSS and can make simple animations.
- It’s a plus if you’ve tried HTML / JS or worked with frontend layouts.
Nice to have
- Experience with 3D or motion design.
- Previous startup or small-team experience.
Internship format
- Educational and training-oriented (not an employment contract).
- Unpaid, focused on learning and portfolio growth.
- Duration: 1–6 months, 10 hours per week.
- Mentorship and regular feedback from the PLANORA team.
- You can include your work in your portfolio after completion.
