Join Johnson & Johnson's OneHR team in The Netherlands and use your expertise in labour relations to maintain an equitable and productive environment for an iconic global healthcare company.
Roles and Responsibilities
This temporary role in the Employee and Labour Relations (ERLR) team is part of the OneHR model of J&J in The Netherlands. This will involve:
- Serving as the first line contact for employees, people leaders, and other HR teams by providing guidance and assistance for policy inquiries and employee-related issues.
- Manage and assist in a variety of employee-related issues and questions.
- Manage and assist in grievance cases, corrective actions and disciplinary management.
- Identify potential early performance cases and coordinate the Performance Management Process.
- Provide advisory support and documentation to Managers and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other Global Services Human Resources functions to create alignment on processes and day-to-day practices as needed.
- Identify relevant policies and practices to determine whether violation of policies or practices occurred.
- Investigate issues and determine methods of mitigation to resolve problems within acceptable timeframes, or escalating inquiries as appropriate in order to achieve effective and timely resolution.
- Assist and encourage users/customers to make effective use of self-service options, systems, products, services, etc. to drive rapid resolution and empower customers; educate and inform customers of the full range of services available to them.
- Establish and maintain a confidential and sensitive work environment, focusing on customer service by handling all customer requests in a professional manner.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
How to Succeed
You will bring:
- A University / Bachelor’s Degree in labour law, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or Equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Background and experience in Human Resources, and or labour law.
- Understanding of HR Functional domains (Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, Workforce Data Administration, HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Organization Management).
- The ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (3 days on-site in Leiden).
Benefits
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 6 month period.
