🔎 We’re looking for a Golang Developer

 📍 Location: Porto, Portugal

 💻 Regime: Hybryd/Remote*

*Candidates outside the Porto area only need to go to the office once a month!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient backend services and APIs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle — from requirement gathering and design to development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Develop well-structured, testable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including flowcharts, layouts, and system architecture diagrams.
• Implement unit, integration, and component tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
• Work closely with QA engineers to troubleshoot issues, validate functionality, and ensure seamless deployments.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes to enable automated testing and delivery.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
• Collaborate within an agile team, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to enhance platform performance and maintainability.

Main skills:

• 4+ years of experience in backend development using languages such as PHP, Java, or C#
• hands-on experience or formal training in Golang
• Experience with distributed systems and messaging
• Background in working with SQL databases, NoSQL and caching
• Proven track record working with CI/CD, design patterns, and automated testing
