• Experience of LAMP stack
• 6+ years’ experience of working as a Software Engineer in a cloud/PHP environment
• Experience working in an Agile software development setup
• Strong experience of APIs (design and implementation) and Web services
• Strong backend and database skills
• Strong experience of cloud SaaS platforms (AWS and/or Azure and/or GCP)
• Advanced knowledge of GIT
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems & pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience of monitoring and logging techniques
• Strong foundations in security considerations
• Proven track record of writing clean, fast, modern, quality PHP code

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented native PHP programming
• Strong knowledge of design patterns (MVC, Strategy, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of accessibility and security compliance
• Strong experience of writing unit tests with PHPUnit and/or Pest
• Understanding of front-end technologies such as jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong knowledge of web security, web server exploits, and their solutions
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Creating database migrations that represent and support business processes
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Deep understanding of Git workflow and Code Review processes
