Do you want to join a well-established bank with a start-up culture? No, we’re not joking!

We, at tbi, have been one the most profitable banks for years and we are growing at a fast pace. We’re a bank with a long history of success that operates as a start-up and we’re always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow our business. How do we do that?

That’s not corporate babble, it’s what our people say.

We’re looking for a dynamic, business-oriented Business Analyst to join our Product Lab and help turn strategy into scalable, high-quality digital banking capabilities. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of business and technology, shaping requirements, de-risking delivery, and harmonizing processes across teams and countries. You’ll partner with Product, Technology, Operations, and Risk/Compliance to design, validate, and launch solutions that are valuable for customers, viable for the business, and compliant by design.

What You’ll do:

Key Responsibilities:

Discovery & requirements. Run workshops/interviews with Product Owners, Business Owners and stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and validate business needs; resolve ambiguities and define scope/priorities.

Business analysis & design. Analyze current processes, customer journeys, and market insights; propose target processes and experience flows to support product decisions.

Functional specifications. Translate outcomes into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process/data flows; ensure traceability from requirements to delivery.

Feasibility & alignment. Partner with development, UX, compliance, and operations to confirm feasibility, non-functional needs, and alignment with business/technical objectives.

Risk, dependency & impact assessment. Identify cross-product/system/team dependencies and risks; contribute to regulatory and risk assessments for financial products.

Backlog & delivery support. Support the Product Owner for backlog refinement, sprint planning, and in-sprint scope clarification; coordinate with QA and plan/execute UAT.

Documentation & communication. Produce and maintain up-to-date specifications, BRDs, business cases, and stakeholder reporting throughout the lifecycle.

Change control. Incorporate feedback and approved changes; keep artefacts current as the solution evolves.

Vendor/RfP evaluation. Run functional and gap analyses during vendor assessments and RfPs.

Go-live & stabilization. Support cutover and post-implementation stabilization; capture lessons learned and handover materials.

Continuous improvement. Track trends in financial services, embedded finance, and digital banking; recommend incremental and step-change improvements.

Outcome focus. Balance large initiatives and incremental changes with a consistent focus on quality, compliance, and measurable business value.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in business & system analysis on projects and regular changes;
  • Experience in financial services, customer-facing digital projects, or retail banking is an advantage;
