Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• You are the process owner of the P&C cycle: Together with the Business Controllers and other stakeholders, you ensure timely month-end closing (soon to be year-end closing) and budget delivery.
• You work together with the client's BI specialists to ensure sound data provision and its continuous improvement.
• You (proactively) improve existing P&C processes.
• On behalf of Business Control, you are the primary contact for Group Control, Record 2 Report, the accountant, and the Financial Controllers of the other BC control teams.
• You perform monthly bookings and prepare various reports. You also continuously search for ways to automate these tasks.
• You perform various analyses during the month-end closing (including occupancy results and department costs) and report clearly on the results. If necessary, you collaborate with the BC staff to identify ways to improve the results.
• You perform ad hoc analyses on your own initiative or at the request of the business or the BC'ers.
• You have a role in risk management within the client and manage the associated processes on behalf of BC Consument.
• You bring new knowledge from within the client organization and from outside (other companies) to improve Finance within BC Consument.

Profile:

• You have at least a higher professional education work and thinking level with a completed degree in (business) economics or business administration.
• At least three years of work experience as a Financial or Business Controller.
• You have (basic) knowledge of risk management.
• You are a whiz with Excel
• SAP and Power BI knowledge is a requirement.
• Dutch and English languages are required on a professional level
