About The Role

We are looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist to resolve complex and high-impact employee data transactions, ensure operational excellence, and partner with HR Information system (HRIS") and People Ops leadership to improve processes, systems, and compliance. This role is the subject matter expert (SME) on employee transaction data management - ensuring accuracy, compliance and scalable processes - and helps guide other team members.

The Senior People Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for the administration to support our employees and managers with inquiries and support continuous improvement of regional HR processes. In addition, you can expect to manage people projects in the region as assigned.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and update data within our HR Systems, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
  • Provide high-quality support to employees by responding to questions and escalating issues as necessary through our global employee platform (ServiceNow).
  • Own resolution of complex or sensitive HR data cases including those requiring cross-functional collaboration or legal/compliance review.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding process improvements, ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable workflows, and thereby improving the employee experience.
  • Oversee complex transaction processing, such as reorganizations, mass data changes, global assignments, and retroactive corrections.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HRIS/People Tech teams on configuration, integrations, and workflow design for employee data processes.
  • Conduct proactive data audits to ensure accuracy, legal compliance, and alignment with policy.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and training materials for teams;
  • Mentor Employee Data Specialists and provide operational guidance to other teams.
  • Partner with Payroll, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless processing of high-risk or sensitive transactions.
  • Analyze HRIS and case management data to identify trends, reduce escalations, and recommend process improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of HR or People Operations experience, with at least 2 years focused on employee data management.
  • Dutch language and/or knowledge of Dutch Labour Law is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday, Oracle, or similar) with ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale or sensitive data changes with high accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives in a shared services environment.
  • Skilled in maintaining data privacy and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong skills in issue summarisation and solutioning.
  • Strong ability to work in a team and influence without authority.
  • Previous experience in global tech company is preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR is a plus.
