For our Utrecht headquarter we are looking for a:

Security Compliance Officer (full time) 

The Security Compliance Officer ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of ODMedia’s digital assets and infrastructure. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with ISO27001, MPA, GDPR, and client-specific security requirements. 

The IT & Technology team is responsible for the technical implantation and maintenance of all ODMedia production backend systems, as well as the hosting, streaming, and broadcast services provided by ODMedia. Our infrastructure span’s various locations across multiple countries and is expanding.

What are you going to do?

·       Maintain and evolve the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

·       Ensure compliance with ISO27001, MPA, GDPR, and client-specific standards.

·       Lead internal and external audits and manage remediation plans.

·       Conduct regular risk assessments and threat modeling.

·       Define and implement mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities.

·       Monitor and report on security KPIs and incident trends. 

·       Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure proper access provisioning

·       and deprovisioning.

·       Enforce least privilege principles and role-based access controls.

·       Review access logs and conduct periodic access audits. 

·       Develop and deliver annual security awareness training programs.

·       Provide onboarding security briefings and ad-hoc training.

·       Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, documentation, and reporting.

·       Coordinate with IT and legal teams for breach notifications and recovery. 

·       Vet subcontractors and third-party vendors for compliance with ODMedia’s security standards.

Who are you?

·       Degree or comparable experience in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in a security compliance role.

·       Strong knowledge of ISO27001, GDPR, MPA, and media industry security standards.

·       Experience with risk assessment frameworks and incident response planning.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·       Fluent in speaking and writing in English; Dutch and/or French proficiency is a plus.
