About The Role
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager & Service Development Leader to join our team in Groningen. In this combined role, you will manage technical advisory, verification, and certification projects for offshore and onshore assets, while driving the development of new service offerings aligned with DNV’s strategy and emerging industry needs.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary experts, customers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, independent verification and certification services that enhance safety, compliance, and innovation across the on- and offshore sectors.
Key Responsibilities Include
- You will lead and manage multidisciplinary projects focused on technical advisory, verification, and certification of offshore and onshore assets. As an Independent Verification Body (IVB) representative, you’ll ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations, while maintaining DNV’s high standards for quality and safety.
- In addition to project delivery, you’ll play a key role in developing and expanding DNV’s service portfolio, responding to evolving customer needs and industry trends. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to long-term partnerships.
- You’ll work closely with technical specialists, service development teams, and our Customer Relations and Sales organization to deliver value-adding solutions. Staying informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and technological advances will be essential to support innovation and thought leadership in offshore safety and infrastructure development.

About You
To be taken into consideration you should have:
- University degree (MSc or BSc) in engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical or related field).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management within the energy, offshore, or infrastructure sectors.
- Solid understanding of verification, certification, and technical assurance processes for offshore and onshore assets, including experience with Safety Environmental Critical Elements (SECE) to ensure regulatory compliance and operational integrity.
- Experience with the Offshore Safety Directive and Independent Verification Body (IVB) work.
- Proficient skills in English and Dutch.
