Junior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyse large datasets to generate actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Work with structured and unstructured data across multiple platforms.
• Support data quality, governance, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, operations, and business teams.
• Continuously explore new tools and technologies to improve data capabilities.

🎓 What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0–2 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or IT.
• Knowledge of programming and query languages (SQL, Python, R, Java, or similar).
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Understanding of databases, data modelling, and ETL concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and passion for working with data.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or data-related) are a plus but not essential.
