We're seeking an exceptional Digital Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our Customer Experience team!
Digital Product Designer is to enhance and optimize the user experience and user interface across all of the company’s digital channels, including apps, web portals, and 3rd party distribution channel. The focus will be on creating intuitive, visually compelling designs (from wireframe/journey flow to atomic elements/components and full interfaces) that drive customer engagement and satisfaction, leverage DesignOps efficiencies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support the business’s goals of digital adoption and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- A passionate and committed human centered design professional, who champions, advocates and HCD principles to create compelling design deliverables for use in digital products and associated brand/comms channels.
- End-to-End Design Ownership: Take full responsibility for all UX, UI and product design deliverables, including landing pages, app screens, and graphics. Ensure designs are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with business objectives. You will create and refine user interfaces that optimize user experience, conversion, and engagement.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Lead and take ownership of the CRO strategy and execution across all key digital journeys and pages; including login and registration flows, checkout and payments, campaign landing pages, and other high-traffic conversion funnels. The candidate will be responsible for continuously analyzing user behavior, identifying friction points, formulating hypotheses, and designing A/B tests to drive measurable improvements in conversion and engagement. This demands a strong analytical and UX mindset, and the ability to translate insights into actionable design enhancements that deliver quantifiable business impact.
- Design System & Library Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive design library and system that ensures consistency across all products. You will define reusable design components and patterns, ensuring scalability and efficiency while maintaining a high standard of design quality throughout the process. An existing design library exists that you will be required to inherit, improve and evolve, including the use of best practices in DesignOps.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure designs are feasible, meet technical requirements, and align with business objectives. While you will be primarily responsible for design, collaboration will be key in ensuring a seamless integration of design into the overall product.
- Design Integration with D2C Partners: Manage the design approval process for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) partners. Ensure your designs are adaptable to external requirements and seamlessly integrate into third-party systems, while maintaining unified user experience across platforms. This includes the use of 3rd party guidelines for design and branding.
- Strategic Product Design Execution: Drive design solutions that align with broader business and product goals. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing design strategies that enhance user experience and support key business objectives, including user acquisition, retention, and conversion.
- Design Quality Assurance: Oversee your own work to ensure the highest standards of design quality are met. You will conduct your own design reviews, refine your work based on feedback, and ensure consistency and accuracy in all deliverables before they are finalized.
- Industry-Specific Expertise: Leverage your experience in fintech, banking, and finance to create designs that address the unique challenges and regulations of these industries. You will ensure that all designs meet industry standards, provide secure and user-friendly experiences, and comply with necessary regulations.
- Data-Driven Design Iteration: Receive feedback from analytics, A/B testing teams, and user feedback to continuously improve your design solutions. You will iterate on your designs based on real-world data, optimizing user engagement and business outcomes by refining and testing design solutions over time.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
- Educated with at least bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
- Education specialization or master’s degree in graphic design / Interaction Design
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in Arabic
- Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in design software like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Cloud, and prototyping tools. Familiarity with front-end technologies is an added plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for all levels (Executive, Board and Public)
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of solid experience in UI and product design, with a strong focus on user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and customer journey design across digital platforms, including apps, websites, and portals.
- Experience in product design and development, particularly in sectors such as Fintech, banking, finance, or working with agencies on enterprise-level digital projects
- In-depth knowledge of technological applications used in digital product design, including how they integrate into business environments to create scalable, secure, and high-performance digital experiences. Familiarity with integrating design systems, responsive design, and modern front-end technologies
- Cross-Platform Design Expertise: Expertise in designing seamless and consistent user experiences across multiple platforms, including mobile (iOS/Android), web, and SaaS portals. Experience ensuring a cohesive design that adapts to different device requirements while maintaining usability and visual consistency across environments
- Proven experience in driving customer engagement, improving user satisfaction, and delivering exceptional digital experiences that align with business goals and digital product strategies
- Strategic Design Thinking: Ability to think strategically and influence business outcomes through design. Experience in aligning design roadmaps with business objectives, working closely with product owners and executive teams to define design vision, set clear goals, and contribute to the long-term success of the product. Proficiency in balancing the short-term execution of design needs with long-term product vision and market positioning
- Able to work effectively in fast-paced, agile, and start-up environments while managing multiple tasks under pressure
- Works independently and responsibly, demonstrating strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Approaches business challenges in a structured and analytical manner, supported by agile and flexible thinking
- Leverages primary and secondary user insights to enhance design and usability
- Provides a portfolio of sample designs, live applications or websites, and professional references to verify experience and design proficiency
