Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Manager/Project Manager professional to manage end-to-end event projects and serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless delivery of corporate events that meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Servicing & Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and service.
- Understand client objectives, brand values, and expectations, and translate them into actionable event strategies.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
Project Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events (mall activations, product launches, gala dinners, activations, etc.).
- Develop detailed project timelines, work plans, and status reports.
- Coordinate with creative, production, logistics, and external vendors to ensure all deliverables meet client requirements.
- Supervise on-site event setup, rehearsals, and live execution while resolving any last-minute challenges.
Budget & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage event budgets in line with client approvals.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor expenses and ensure profitability while delivering high-quality outcomes.
Post-Event Management
- Conduct post-event evaluations and client debrief sessions.
- Analyze event performance against KPIs and prepare reports.
- Share insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Events Management, Communications, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in project management or client servicing within events, advertising, or marketing agencies.
- Strong knowledge of corporate events, including production, logistics, and creative processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, based on event schedules.
