Software Engineer (Payments/Point of Sale/Devices)

We're seeking a Software Engineer for a 12 month contract position with a company based in Mississauga, very close to the airport.

There is potential to extend the contract or flip into a full time/permanent position.

This is an in-office position, 5 days per week.

The office is in Mississauga, very close to the airport.

Desired skills & experience:

• C# and .NET Core coding experience
• Familiar with front-end technologies such as Angular / HTML5 / React
• Strong OOPS, SOLID design principles, and multi-threading programming skills
• Experience in REST and RESTful web API
• Experience in relational database and No-SQL
• JSON and XML

"Nice to have" skills & experience:

• "payments" development experience
• Experience/understanding of EMV, P2PE, PCI PA-DSS
• Real-time embedded development experience
• C++ coding experience
• TCP/IP socket, serial communication, USB, video/audio development experience
• POS/"point of sale" experience
• Tools for software development like JIRA, Bitbucket, Visual Studio Team Explorer
• SignalR and RabbitMQ experience is a plus

$50 - 70 per hour, flexible depending on experience level.
