Software Engineer (Payments/Point of Sale/Devices)
We're seeking a Software Engineer for a 12 month contract position with a company based in Mississauga, very close to the airport.
There is potential to extend the contract or flip into a full time/permanent position.
This is an in-office position, 5 days per week.
The office is in Mississauga, very close to the airport.
Desired skills & experience:
- C# and .NET Core coding experience
- Familiar with front-end technologies such as Angular / HTML5 / React
- Strong OOPS, SOLID design principles, and multi-threading programming skills
- Experience in REST and RESTful web API
- Experience in relational database and No-SQL
- JSON and XML
"Nice to have" skills & experience:
- "payments" development experience
- Experience/understanding of EMV, P2PE, PCI PA-DSS
- Real-time embedded development experience
- C++ coding experience
- TCP/IP socket, serial communication, USB, video/audio development experience
- POS/"point of sale" experience
- Tools for software development like JIRA, Bitbucket, Visual Studio Team Explorer
- SignalR and RabbitMQ experience is a plus
$50 - 70 per hour, flexible depending on experience level.
